About the Department
The work of the Interfaculty Department of Educational Systems and Pedagogical Technologies of MGIMO includes practically all problems in the field of education. Among its partners are Gorchakov Lyceum, ISBE, Olimp-Plus schools, leading universities (Moscow State Pedagogical University, Higher School of Economics, Saint Petersburg State University, Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, etc.), etc.
The mission of the department
To train highly qualified specialists in education, capable to implement effectively the new educational paradigm of the XXI century.
Among the scientific and methodological objectives:
- Design innovative educational systems that incorporate pedagogical resources of both education and personal-development resources of society.
- Design person-developing innovative environments in educational organizations.
- Develop and test innovative pedagogical technologies aimed at improving meta-disciplinary and personal learning results of students.
