19 december 2022

More than 1,500 participants have registered for the Olympiad. Students will have to pass online tests in their personal account on the project website in Russian and English languages, geography, history and international relations.

The MGIMO International School Olympiad is the first project for foreign applicants, enabling them to study at one of the best universities in Russia on a free-of-charge basis. Students from Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan can try their hand. The winners and runners-up will be selected separately for each country.

After the qualifying stage the best contestants will demonstrate their knowledge in the face-to-face format on the area of each country participating in the Olympiad.

Winners of the Olympiad will have the opportunity to study at MGIMO undergraduate programmes for foreign nationals free of charge. The winners of the competition will be given priority admission to MGIMO's fee-based programmes based on the portfolio competition.
