The first part of the book includes concepts for the development of "contemporary education" and "Moscow standard of education quality", as well as a model for comprehensive rating of educational organizations, developed on the basis of national educational policy priorities. The technology of pedagogical support of socio-professional self-determination of high school students on the example of technical sciences and industry. <p>The article studies the involvement of parents in the educational process of their children in different groups of schools: unsuccessful, resistant, feyling and effective schools. Particular attention is paid to schools operating in unfavorable socio-economic conditions and showing high results ("resilient schools"). The data source is a survey of 3,887 parents whose children attend general education institutions. The analysis of the level of socio-economic well-being of schools is based on the survey data of 1,236 head masters.</p>
