Russian Schools Abroad is a network of unique MGIMO schools outside Russia founded by the University since 2021 within the framework of the "Russian Schools Abroad" project of the Priority-2030 state programme. The project aims to open at least 15 schools by 2030.
The project is based on the "gold standard" of quality: nurturing talents of every student, advanced digital technologies, the highest mentoring competencies, diverse educational programmes, and state-approved certification
Russian Schools Abroad are the promoters of the Russian language and Russian culture abroad.
The MGIMO Russian Schools Abroad (RSA) ecosystem will include 15 educational institutions by the year 2030. RSA is an educational and communicative environment for all those interested in learning Russian language and culture. The RSA space brings together children, parents, and teachers.
MGIMO Lyceum in Tashkent is not just compulsory secondary education. It is first of all fundamental knowledge from the best teachers of Uzbekistan and Russia.
The educational process in MGIMO Lyceum will be carried out on the basis of state standards of education in Russia and Uzbekistan. Uzbek programme will be presented by best experts of International House-Tashkent Academic Lyceum, and Russian programme will be taught by MGIMO Gorchakov Lyceum Department.
The programme is divided into two streams: Law and Business Informatics. The teaching process here is based on the newest educational methods, using the lyceum teachers' own original manuals, as well as everything that the modern pedagogical science offers.

MGIMO Lyceum in Tashkent, established within the framework of MGIMO strategic project "Russian Schools Abroad" of the development program "Priority 2030" in order to provide quality education and expand opportunities for young people, opened its doors for the entrance examinations.
On June 1, the MGIMO Lyceum in Tashkent launched a summer educational intensive for 10th grade students, which is being held with the assistance of teachers from the MGIMO Gorchakov Lyceum. The intensive includes classes in Russian, English, social studies, history and math.
At the MGIMO Lyceum in Tashkent, the main period of study has ended, but schoolchildren continue to prepare for exams. Eleventh-graders are actively preparing for the state final certification in the GIA format in the main subjects: Russian language and mathematics.
The GIA will be organized at the accredited Examination Reception Point No. 5005 on the basis of the Tashkent branch of MGIMO. The point in Tashkent was first opened in 2021 as part of MGIMO's strategic project "Russian Schools Abroad" of the Academic Development Program "Priority 2030".
On May 17, 2023 on the basis of the Tashkent branch of MGIMO in the Examination Reception Point №5005 was held an all-Russian training event for students of lyceum classes of the Russian International School in Tashkent.
